ETFMathGuy LLC is a subscription-based education service created by James A. “Jim” DiLellio, Ph.D., MBA for tax-efficient investing.

In addition, Dr. DiLellio is an Associate Professor of Decision Sciences in the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University and an MBA from Pepperdine University. His current research interests include nonlinear optimization, simulation, and Kalman filtering techniques for modeling investment problems. The application of this research covers portfolio management, tax-efficient investing, retirement planning, commodity price modeling, and the analysis of investment strategies. He has published papers in Energy Economics, Journal of Economics and Finance, Journal of Investing, and Financial Services Review. Recently, ETF Database recognized Dr. DiLellio as an ETF Friendly Professor. Similarly, his investment expertise was cited in “Ask The Experts: Investing for a Secure Financial Future” on wallethub.com. Recently, he received a best paper award, sponsored by the CFP® Board of Standards, on retirement income planning.
Lastly, Dr. DiLellio is the author of two textbooks. The first book is on business statistics, and the second book covers “options of real assets”.
